We have new puppy plans 

This spring we are going to breed Ella (Glasgowhill´s Me To Please) to Hero (Glasgowhill´s Super Hero)      

We are expecting both tricoloured and sable puppies. All of them will be CEA-free. Both Ella and Hero are imported from Canada bred by Sandra Hamilton,(Glasgowhill´s Collies).

I am Anna-Stina Wahlström, a teacher of art and craft. In 2008, I got the opportunity toi be on absence from my work to spend more time together with my dogs. During the same year I managed to get the titel "obedience instructor" and that means that I do not only train my own dogs in obedience but also give obedience classes to other people and their dogs.  The same  year I also passed the exam for breeders. So in the near future I am also planning to apply for a kennel name.

 I have always had animals; dogs, cats and other animals. Members of my family today  are my daughter Clara, my friend Stefan,  our six collies (Rufus, Bamse, Baxter, Prince Hero and Ella), and the cat (Lisa).

We all live in a house with a garden, at a place called Slottsbacken (Castlehill in English), in Ekenäs, southern Finland. That is one reason why I have chosen to call my homepage "Slottsbackens collies" (the Collies of Castlehill, in English). Hovewer, most of the summer we spend in the countryside, in our old cottage in Tenala. There we have a big fenced area were the dogs can run free.

The most important thing for me is that the dogs are healthy, that they have a good temperament and that they like to work. It is always nice to succeed in a dog show, but both I and my dogs like better to learn new things like search, tracking, agility and so on. Several of my dogs have shown to be good working dogs, which makes me feel really happy.
