At the end of May, 2006, Baxter landed safe and sound at Helsinki-Vanda airport. He was at that time a little more than 3 months old. The flight from Toronto, Canada, via Prague, obviously went well, because Baxter was calm and happy when he came out from the crate in his new home country. Baxter is a strongly built, rather active and mentally strong dog, out of american / canadian lines. He loves people very much and he is social, very friendly and kind. There are almost nothing that makes Baxter loose his balance. Things that bother other dogs do not affect him at all. Baxter also loves all kinds of activities, both mental and physical (he is training search, tracking, cani-cross and obedience), but he also enjoys laying on the sofa, just relaxing. Baxter has showed to be a good barking search dog, but unfortunately his voice can sometimes be a little difficult to hear, especially if there is a lot of noice or if he finds the victim e.g on the other side of a high mountain. May be tracking will still suite him better?
