Rufus is the leader of the pack and a typical alfa-male but at the same time a very sensitve dog. He wants to keep everything that happens both inside and outside the house, under his control and that can make him feel stressed. Rufus is a very active and lively dog that loves all forms of physical activity as well as mental exercises. He is also a very intelligent dog. He is easy to train and can, if needed, also make his own decisions and act independently. Rufus´ favorite things to do include above all agility (Rufus competes in class 3, large breeds). We also do obedience training and working dog training, now and then, depending on how much time we have available. He has also once taken on the task of being a shepherd’s dog but it ended there because we don’t own any sheep.  Rufus is the kind of dog that needs a strong hand to guide him and an active life to reach his full potential. Rufus is about 65% American lined.
